I experience. I share. We listen.

Below are some testimonials from residents, patients and family members that have received rehabilitation services or made The Village Health & Rehabilitation their home. We invite you to visit our community and take a tour!

Just a note to say how much I appreciated your staff and the care they provide to my father over his brief stay. The kindness and compassion was superior to any past experiences, myself and my father had received over the past two years of his declining health!

Special words of thanks to Cory, Michelle, Nate, Georgi, Irene and Kensey and others! Everyone there from the desk to the 800 hall made his attempt at rehab fun and encouraging. The last time I saw my father smile was when Nate was bringing him back from rehab in a wheel chair when he encountered a large dog on site!

We knew that his rehab would be almost impossible. However you never gave up on dad. He went from comfort care one day to wanting to stay for rehab the next. It was frustrating when I thought he really wanted to go home to pass. But I knew he was in loving, compassionate hands. Kensey made the phone call to me on the morning of his passing. She was awesome in her delivery of the message! I’ve been in the same position in my career as a Fire Dept. Captain. Such a hard thing to deliver but handled with true compassion and professionalism.

I don’t know what else to say but THANK YOU!

Best wishes to all! You’re the best!

Sincerely,

Trent

Son of Resident

My Mom, Darlene, was a resident at The Village Health & Rehabilitation from December 2012 until her passing last week. She was originally in one of your regular rooms but eventually moved to Pearl Garden due to her Parkinson’s Disease-related dementia.

I visited mom at your facility in January and was so impressed with every aspect of The Village. Every member of your staff was kind, patient and loving. I overheard some of your staff discussing a difficult patient, and their words were nothing but kind, sincere and collaborative. The facility is bright, clean, safe and decorated in a homey, comfortable fashion. The food was healthy and had a wonderful variety. Nothing about The Village seemed “institutional” or depressing.

Every time I called my mom, your staff was eager to get my mom for me to speak with. It was often a laborious process to transfer my call, put me on hold, and bring her out near the phone to speak with me. They did it every time I called, unless she was eating or sleeping. I frequently mailed my mom letters and photos, and was told by my sister that many of your staff would open the letters for our mom and take time to look at the photos together. My sister, Lorrie and her husband Frank live in Missoula and visited our mom weekly. They consistently raved about your staff and their kindness toward our mom; holding her hand, speaking sweetly to her and showing her amazing compassion.

In my mom’s last hours, your staff comforted my family as they visited, even bringing them breakfast one morning. Our mom passed away comfortably and quietly.

I can’t tell you what a relief it has been the past 11 months to know my mom was cared for in a wonderful environment, where she truly was treated like family. Your facility and staff gave my family such comfort and security in knowing that our mom was in the best place she possibly could have been.

My family and I thank you and your staff for their hard work and compassion, dedicated to treating your patients like loved ones. It is appreciated more than you can possibly imagine.

Please pass this letter on to your staff at The Village so my family can share our thanks to each one of them.

Sincerely,

Andrea

Daughter of Resident

My family and I want to thank you for your kindness and compassion when Dave was admitted to The Village Health & Rehabilitation. You turned what started out as a traumatic experience for us into one of comfort and peace.

We are forever grateful to you for giving us reassurance that Dave’s needs would be addressed. You and your staff are to be commended for the care given him.
